I've created this black onyx ring with a modern angular setting. This stone has a broad sweeping table and elongated facets along the sweeping curve of the crown. I've set it snugly with an 18 karat yellow gold altered bezel. One side is embellished with three solid 18 karat gold balls. The ring shank subtly tapers from a deep dome at the back, to a triangular shape at the shoulders. The gallery has also been tapered at an inward angle to add visual interest. This is the only ring I've made in this design, and is truly one of a kind, as is most of my work.
This ring is a size 8.75
The head of the ring is approximately 12 x 16 mm.
