I've hand forged these sterling silver dogwood blossoms with deep pink chalcedony centers, dangling from sweeping, textured copper stems.
Keep summer all year long with these dogwood blossoms in your earring collection. I forged the metal into a floral shape with a special hammer. Then I employed an age old technique called depletion gilding, which consists of heating and cooling the metal repeatedly to bring the pure silver to the surface, resulting in a lovely whitish surface of fine silver. I then polish the very edges of the petals to create interest. The stones have a deep pink hue, which adds vibrant contrast to this floral design.
All of my jewelry is one of a kind, entirely hand fabricated in my home studio.

All items are shipped in a small box, or a bag within a padded envelope appropriate to the size, shape and number of items purchased.
