Handmade ginkgo leaf earrings, hand sawn and chased in bright .999 fine silver on sterling silver ear wires.
These take me a long time to make. The details are created by the age old chasing technique, which is skillfully done with a handheld tool that I tap with a special jeweler's hammer while gliding the tool across the silver. I've formed the ear wires at a little curve so the leaves will hang slightly tilted towards the face.
Earrings dangle approximately 1.75 inches below the earlobe, and are about 1.5 inches wide.
