For this ring I chose a lovely rose cut, purple amethyst and pink tourmaline, which I've set in a wide tapered band, neo-geometric design of sterling and fine silver with 18k gold ball accents. I created a textured backplate for added interest with a highly polished finish. I've tapered the band, narrowing at the back for maximum comfort.
Modern rose cut gemstones harken back to times of old and continue to be made and polished by hand as they once were, as opposed to the more typical cuts which are done by a machine.

I create all of my jewelry pieces durably for a lifetime of wear. All connections are soldered, and I test each piece before completion to be certain it lays nicely and looks perfect.
I work intuitively, so I seldom make the same design twice, and I never have a definite plan when I begin, unless I'm working on a specific custom request. I simply work my design around the stone, as the design reveals itself.
